TriTrader+ Live scans the most-traded stocks and ETFs on our own charts, draws all six triangles the way a trader would, and hands you the entry, the stop and both targets the moment one breaks. Here is exactly how it works.
One payment. No subscription. The crossed-out price is what it goes to when the drop ends.
I'm a chart nerd, and I've traded triangles since I started in the markets, close to a decade ago. A triangle is the market telling you something has to give. Price squeezes into a point, and then it breaks.
My problem was never spotting them. It was time. I'd open a chart, see a perfect triangle, clean trendlines and an obvious breakout coming, and by the time I checked back, the move had already happened. Like this one on $AAPL:

Too many tickers, too many timeframes, not enough hours. So I took the six triangles I trust most and built an algo to watch every chart for me: the TriHex Analysis Code, drawing the lines through the real highs and lows and flagging the break when it happens.
Now that TradingView is making it harder, I've rebuilt it on our own platform as TriTrader+ Live: it finds the triangles on every candle close and hands you the whole plan.
— Ben
Which swing highs count? Which lows? Two traders draw two different triangles on the same chart, and their breakouts land on different candles. One of them buys a wick that falls right back.
And even when you draw it right, you have to be there when it breaks. With hundreds of charts and two timeframes, by the time you've drawn the lines, the move is often gone. From November 1, TradingView is also changing the rules on how indicators are sold.
So TriTrader+ draws them for you: lines through the real swing highs and lows, touched at least five times, on every chart, every candle close. A call needs a clear close through the line.
TriTrader+ finds all six. The three buys are the calls, plus a Descending Triangle broken up on the daily; the breakdowns are drawn so you see what the chart is doing.
Two lines squeezing price into a point. The break up is the buy.
A flat ceiling and rising lows: buyers keep pressing. A close through the top is the buy.
Both lines falling and narrowing: selling running out of steam. The break up is the buy.
The same squeeze, breaking down. Drawn so you see it, not called.
A flat floor and falling highs. The break down is drawn; on the daily, a decisive break up is a buy.
Both lines rising and narrowing: false strength. Drawn, not called.
We rebuilt the triangle finder from scratch, replayed it over two years of more than 200 stocks and ETFs, kept what held up and threw out what did not. This is what is left.
Trendlines through the real swing highs and lows, touched at least five times, converging toward a point. No guessing which line counts.
A call needs a decisive close through the line, a triangle tall enough to matter, and on the daily chart, a market that is rising. Every call carries the stamp.
Entry at the close, the stop under the lower line, a conservative target at half the risk and an aggressive target at the triangle's own height. Nothing left to work out.
On every candle close the cleanest three open calls go up top, so you start with the best of the day, not a wall of charts.
Triangles in place that have not broken yet: your watchlist for the next candles.
Breakouts that passed the checklist, each with its entry, stop, a conservative and an aggressive target.
How every call ended: the aggressive target, the conservative target then breakeven, or stopped. Kept on the record.

I built the TriHex Algo to draw a triangle the way I would, every time, on every chart, without me sitting there. Here's exactly what it does on every candle close:
It marks the real swing highs and swing lows: a high with lower candles on both sides, a low with higher ones. No guessing which wick counts.
It runs a line through the swing highs and another through the swing lows, locked to the candle highs and lows with the 0.0001 precision factor. A line only stands if price respects it, and the two lines need at least five touches between them.
From how the two lines slope, it knows which of the six triangles it is looking at: Symmetrical, Ascending, Descending, Falling Wedge or Rising Wedge.
No call until price closes through the line, not just pokes through it. On the daily it wants a decisive close, a triangle tall enough to matter, and a rising market.
The entry at the close, the stop under the lower line, a conservative target where half comes off and the stop moves to your entry, and an aggressive target at the triangle's own height.
Every call that clears all five gets the TriHex Algo confirmed stamp. That's what you'll see on every card in TriTrader+ Live.

TriTrader+ Live is in your members area the minute you join. Open it and the work is done: the triangles found, the calls made, my top picks up top.
It's the first piece of Find Better Charts, the charting platform we're building right inside the members area, where you'll pull up any chart yourself and switch on the indicators you own. It opens as a beta, free for every member, soon.

Some of you trade the stock. Some of you want the option. So every TriTrader+ Live call on a big, heavily traded name now comes with an options play right on the card and in the alerts:
Real option closes from the signal's session to the exit's, on TriTrader+ Live calls. Past plays, not a promise about the next one.
Here's something most indicator sellers won't tell you. We tested the sell side. A lot.
Nate on our team ran over 2 million backtests on triangles. Not one short version was profitable. Then we ran our own on top: more stocks, the 1-hour, quick 15-minute trades, one- and two-day holds, only on days the market was falling. The best version made about +0.05R a trade. That's a coin flip once you pay to trade it.
The reason is simple: the market rips. Stocks climb over time, and when one breaks down, buyers step in and snap it back.
So all six triangles are drawn on your charts, the sells included, so you see the whole picture. But TriTrader+ only calls the side that has paid: the buys. These are our best setups, and we're not going to mess with anything else just to look busy.
